Moving to The Woodlands, Texas

The Woodlands is one of the best-selling master-planned communities in the country. It started in 1974 as a bedroom suburb of Houston, just 28 miles to the south, but has become a mecca for residents and corporations, with companies like Anadarko, Exxon, Mearsk Sealand and many others working and living among the tall pines, green belts, 129 parks, and many golf courses. Take a water taxi or trolley to the 1.3 million square foot Woodlands Mall, Market Street or to a performance at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, one of the most popular outdoor amphitheaters in the world.
