Kevin Evans

President

Kevin Evans is President of WEB Media Group, a niche media company specializing in the relocation / newcomer and lifestyle market.  Currently, WEB Media Group produces 17 titles and 11 websites across 6 states, with three new branches in 2017.  In 2002 he started with a single employee, single market concept that has grown to a national company employing 20 people. 

Evans caught the publishing bug early in college, he served as Editor-in-Chief of his college newspaper, then worked for Auto Trader, traveling the country fixing problem publications and establishing new markets.  After leaving Auto Trader, he served as Vice-President of New Business Development with the Los Angeles Times before moving to Austin and launching the Austin Relocation Guide.  He has over 30 years of publishing experience. 

Candi Thomas

Vice President of Sales

Candi started with WEB Media Group in June of 2016 as publisher for the Denver Relocation Guide.  She now leads our dynamic sales team, overseeing 12 publications & websites across 5 states.  With over 25 years of advertising sales experience (15 in publishing), she enjoys working with her clients on new and exciting ways to reach their target audience.  She graduated CUM LAUDE from the University of Colorado in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Communications & Marketing.

A Colorado native, Candi and her husband, Johnny take advantage of the 300 days of sunshine in the Mile High City, spending time with their kids and spoiling their first grandson.

Erin Seal

Creative Director

Erin Hayden Seal has been working on the creative side of the magazine publishing industry for twenty-years and has been Creative Director with WEB Media Group for the majority of that time. Erin received her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin where she fell in love with all things design, and Austin.  When not at her computer working to make deadline, she loves to travel, spend time with friends and hang with her husband, son and two dogs at their home in Austin.

Cecile Adams

Operations Director & Website Manager

Cecile Adams has been working in the publishing and digital media marketing sector for close to twenty-years.  Previously (and currently) working chamber of commerce and convention and visitor bureau publications.  She joined WEB Media Group back in 2016 working closely with website development for the relocation guides.  Cecile enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter at the beach and has avid interest in exercise and health.  Also, an advocate for learning on the constant and expanding her knowledge base on her career. 

DeBORA LUZ LICON

Graphic Artist

Debora Luz Licon has been working with magazines for over 14 years. Having worked with local Austin companies like Austin Monthly, Twin Liquors, Realty Austin and YETI, she began freelancing for WebMedia 4 years ago. While art directing MUJER, an award-winning Spanish, women’s magazine she worked with Redroc Advertising Agency where she fell in love with designing websites. She tries to stay current with design trends by being active within her AIGA community and is constantly learning new art mediums such as linocut, watercolor and oil pastel drawing.

Shawna Adkins

Area Director

Shawna Adkins is an Area Director for WEB Media Group in the  Greater Austin Metro area, focusing on Austin Relocation Guide, along with Williamson County and Lake Travis publications.  She has been in the advertising industry for 4 years with a career in Sales & Marketing spanning back to High School DECA, writing two consecutive business marketing manuals, and competing nationally.  She graduated from Morehead State University with a Secondary English degree and continued working on her Masters at the University of Kentucky, before moving to Austin, Texas.  Shawna completed her Project Management Certificate course through St. Edward’s Pro Ed and has excelled in the tech and advertising industry over the last several years, preparing her for her current role of promoting Austin local businesses and helping them grow, managing client campaigns, building lasting relationships and helping newcomers fall in love with Austin, as she did. Shawna is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in her spare time, so Austin’s growth, opportunity and “Live Music Capital” status, have been the perfect place for her to flourish. In addition, she enjoys traveling with her husband and son, watching her son play both competitive soccer and swim, and helping people through volunteer and charity work. 

Jeff Carlyon

Area Director

For the past 21 years Jeff has called Austin Texas home. He began his career in media sales in 2005 with the Austin Chronicle And Austin Monthly Magazine. His current role with Web Media Group is area directors for the Austin and Tampa Bay relocation guides. In his free time you can find him hiking the trails with his dog and training for his next marathon or ultra trail race.

Jill Roe

Associate Publisher

Jill Roe has been a part of Houston Newcomer and Relocation Guides sales team for 10 years. She’s stays connected and grows her business through volunteering on boards of the Chambers of Commerce and the Greater Houston Builders Association. She is a native Houstonian who loves all things Houston, especially the diverse dining scene, museums, arts, and sports.  Her second love of living in Houston is the hour drive to Galveston Island where she enjoys weekends at the beach.  Her passions in life are spending time with family, traveling and nice wine. spending time with family, traveling and nice wine.

Paul Yarbrough

Regional Manager

Paul Yarbrough, Web Media Group Regional Sales Manager, has been selling advertisements for the Bay Area Texas Newcomer and Relocation Guides for twenty-two years.   Paul, an avid fan of the University of Georgia football program, graduated from UGA and joined the Sears Roebuck Credit Management Team in Athens Georgia.   Sears moved him extensively throughout the Southern Territory and he retired in New Orleans after 33 years with Sears as Credit Manager.   Paul plays golf in regional tournaments and enjoys hunting and fishing.
