According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Houston is the second-largest growing metro in the country.

Specifically listed, the area classified as Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land was noted as the metropolitan area with the second biggest gains the country.  Harris County in Houston was the fourth largest-gaining county with growth of 4.62 million in 2016 to 4.65 million in 2017.

The overall population numeric change for the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land area was a total of 94,417 in the population from the year 2016 to 2017.
