Lutheran South Academy offers a Christian, college preparatory curriculum to a diversified student body of approximately 900 students in grades PreK3-12th. Over 99% of its graduates continue into post-secondary educational institutions. LSA is accredited in accordance with the Texas Education Agency, AdvancED, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
Lutheran South was one of only seven Lutheran schools in the country to be named “Exemplary” for the 2012-2013 school year by the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation Commission.
Lutheran South employs only certified teachers, many having Master Degrees or beyond. LSA also offers a licensed before and after school care program for their students.
LSA is a member of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS), and regularly sends athletic teams to district and state playoff competitions. The athletic program includes a wide range of individual and team sports. There are also opportunities for students to participate in TAPPS competitions in Art, Band, Choir and various academic disciplines. LSA is located off I-45 South near Dixie Farm Road.
