Founded in 2005, Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy is a private Christian school comprised of grades Pre-K through 12th. Legacy Prep prepares students to be successful in college and life by providing a rigorous academic background that is rich in opportunities. The school strives to develop a biblical worldview combined with community service, a strong work ethic, and study habits critical to college-worthy students. The vision of Legacy Prep is to cultivate parental involvement in the educational process of their children and to come alongside parents to prepare the students to be college-worthy, character witnesses for Christ.
Legacy Prep is a University Model School certified by the National Association of University Model Schools (NAUMS), headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. The school attained NAUMS certification in July 2008 and was recertified in April of 2014. Legacy Prep is also accredited by AdvancEd/SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). The school participates in ASCI and TAPPS. Currently, Legacy Prep has over 400 students enrolled and attending school on the 22-acre campus in The Woodlands. The school offers a wide array of sports including football, baseball, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, golf, tennis, cross country, track & field, and more. Extra-curricular activities include National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, student council, fine arts, and more.
