And despite the perception that public schools suffer from larger classrooms, CFISD is proud to have an average 22:1 student to staff ratio. And let’s talk about graduation! Did you know that 93 percent of CFISD students graduate in four years? Many of our students are accepted to top-ranking colleges in Texas and across the nation. And last year alone, there were 71 Ivy League acceptances among our graduates.
Education That’s on the Money
We are staunchly committed to fiscal responsibility while providing an exceptional education and Opportunity for All! CFISD received the highest possible distinction in all six years of the Texas Comptroller’s Leadership Circle Awards for financial transparency.
After promising not to raise taxes, CFISD lowered the tax rate by 1 cent following
the 2014 Bond campaign. Our taxpayers also benefit from a 20-percent optional local homestead exemption that few districts in the Houston area offer.

At CFISD, we cheer our students to participate in a variety of academic, extracurricular and hands-on activities with many schools offering blended learning environments.
