Marilyn has lived in Texas for over 40 years and has lived in the League City area for the more than 20. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Houston, she worked in the banking industry for several years and then for a NASA contractor. After her first child was born, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom and was promoted to CEO of the Ames household for the next 10 years.

As her children grew older, Marilyn eyed an additional goal and obtained her real estate license in 2009. Despite the poor housing market at that time, Marilyn was rewarded with the “2010 Rookie of the Year” at Prudential Gary Greene Realtors. Her dedication and perseverance helped her obtain that prestigious award.
