Beyond the expanded ICU and new adult intermediate care unit, there is state-of-the-art equipment, including new diagnostic monitoring systems, to enhance patient care. The expanded Emergency Center further enhances the hospital’s outstanding heart attack care for patients arriving with chest pain. A nationally accredited Chest Pain Center, the hospital has affiliated heart specialists available 24/7 to perform balloon coronary (angioplasty) in its cardiac catheterization lab.
