At Covenant Christian School, we are committed to your child’s optimal academic growth while integrating and balancing the spiritual, physical and social aspects of life. Covenant students consistently receive high scores on standardized achievement tests. In fact, Covenant recently graduated two National Merit Scholars, and this year we are pleased to announce we have another National Merit Scholar semifinalist. More than 95% of our graduates attend colleges and universities throughout Texas and across the nation.

At Covenant, we believe that cultivating competition and sportsmanship in our students has far greater significance than just winning a game. Our coaches mentor, train and motivate our athletes for excellence and Godly character – on and off the field. Students in grades 6 through 12 are encouraged to compete on a variety of teams year-round, giving them the opportunity to discover and develop their God-given strengths and talents through athletics.

Christianity is more than part of our curriculum – faith in Christ provides the foundation of everything we do. Faculty, staff and students live out their faith on a daily basis, committed to our core values and beliefs. Through an integrated biblical worldview, we inspire our students to realize his or her full potential in service to the Lord, develop a sincere desire to impact the world with excellence and glorify God in every area of their life. Students are not only taught to memorize scripture – they are expected to apply its truth and wisdom to all areas of life.

Our fine arts department fosters artistic expression in all of our students. From Pre-K on, students receive instruction from esteemed art teachers who cultivate an awareness of the beauty found in God’s amazing creations. Covenant’s unparalleled music department encourages a life-long appreciation of music, and our award winning high school Choral Praise Group has the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in alternating years. Beginning in 7th grade, dedicated drama teachers instruct students in theater, leading up to the much anticipated annual junior play at the historic Crighton Theater.
