Houston’s population is on the rise and the area is continually growing to adapt to their new residents.
Developers continue to pick up large parcels of land to develop beautiful master-planned communities to house the increasing population, with amenities that are top-notch. Corporate headquarters continue to eyeball Houston as a potential space for building new locations for their increasing business ventures, paving way for more prospective Houston residents.
In the latest population estimates published by the U.S. Census Bureau approximately 18,666 new residents made Houston their home between July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2016. Not only that areas such as Conroe, Texas and League City, Texas spiked and hit record breaking year over year population growth. While Conroe added 13,500 residents, League City was able to pass the 100,000 population mark during the time frame of July 1, 2015 to July 1, 2016.
The U.S. Census Bureau is citing that cities in the South continue to grow at a fast pace, faster than any other region in the U.S.
