Including Kids, Inc. in Humble, Texas—now fully integrated into Empower Behavioral Health (EBH)—continues to serve the special needs community of Kingwood, Humble, Houston, and surrounding areas. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EBH (formerly Including Kids) provides children and families affected by autism and related delays with wraparound support through full-day, one-on-one programming and after‑school services. Empower Behavioral Health
Early intensive intervention is critical: research shows that about half of young children with autism who receive high-quality ABA therapy can succeed in typical school environments. EBH’s efforts extend to those with more severe disabilities, offering lifesaving interventions that can enable individuals to remain safely at home rather than transition to residential care. Their unique partnerships with private schools—such as Holy Trinity Episcopal School and Northeast Christian Academy—facilitate inclusion and access to mainstream classrooms. What’s New with EBH
Since merging with Empower Behavioral Health in June 2022 (finalized May 31), EBH has expanded its footprint in greater Houston while preserving Including Kids’ nonprofit roots. Backed by consecutive BHCOE accreditations, EBH now operates 12 clinics statewide and employs over 170 clinicians, continuing to provide tailored ABA services that focus on communication, social skills, self‑help, and behavior management across all ages.
