Homebuyers looking for a new home should pedal over to Woodridge Forest in Porter to visit professionally decorated model homes filled with design ideas and to learn of limited-time builder promotions from April 21 to May 20.

The Life in Bloom Spring Home Tour offers buyers an opportunity to explore six well-appointed model homes, as well as the generous slate of amenities found within the Kingwood-area master-planned community. Models will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.

“Visitors to Woodridge Forest are going to find everything they want in a new home located in one of Houston’s best known communities,” said Harry Masterson, founding principal of Concourse Development, developer of Woodridge Forest. “Our family of builders is not only showcasing their incredible range of home designs and hot interior design trends, they are also offering limited-time incentives for new home buyers.”

Builders Chesmar Homes, Gehan Homes, Saratoga Homes and Westin Homes will be offering up to $10,000 in special home tour incentives to buyers who purchase a new home by May 20. New homes range from $200,000 to $600,000. Builders offer buyers home designs for every phase of life, Masterson said, from growing families needing extra space to one-story homes for those looking to downsize.

“Plus, Woodridge Forest is a new home community that offers proximity to all the retail, dining and lifestyle conveniences found in one of Houston’s most established master-planned communities,” he said.

In addition, weekend visitors will receive a spring flower kit to celebrate the season and Woodridge Forest’s new trail system that now connects the community to more than 75 miles of Kingwood hike-and-bike trails.

“The Woodridge Forest trail system is our newest amenity,” Masterson said. “There is a very strong sense of community in Woodridge Forest as homeowners gather monthly for planned events by the community lifestyle director. Many of the events are centered around the on-site resort pool, spray park and stocked fishing lakes. The strong sense of community was especially felt when Hurricane Harvey hit. Since our community wasn’t affected by flooding, our homeowners and homebuilders were able to focus on those who were in need.”

That strong sense of community can be experienced at the Woodridge Forest Woodstock Fest from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the community center located at 22525 Soaring Woods Lane in Porter. This event marks the grand opening celebration for the Woodridge Forest trail. It will feature live music by Jaime Casco and shopping by more than 35 local vendors. Attendees also can purchase craft brew from Spindletap brewery and sweet and savory treats from food vendors. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the New Caney ISD Education Foundation. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and coolers, plus the first 50 people to arrive will receive a complimentary Woodridge Forest sports chair. For more details about Woodstock Fest, visit www.woodridgeforest.com/events/.
