At St. Jerome Catholic School we take pride in being more than just a school. Here, we are family. We welcome students of all backgrounds and faiths to experience the comprehensive education of mind, heart and spirit from grades Pre-K to 8th.
The philosophy of St. Jerome School is that the school will share the responsibility with the parents for the religious, intellectual, moral, physical, aesthetic, and social formation of the children of our school.
It is the fundamental goal of St. Jerome Catholic School to assist the family by helping to develop in children true values, so that the children may apply Christian principles to all facets of their lives. Convinced that our young people are creatures of God, composed of body and soul, our philosophy takes into consideration their total development as individuals and members of “God’s People,” active in the world today.
St. Jerome is committed to equal opportunity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, or national or ethnic origin in its educational programs and activities.
Our school is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department, an accrediting agency approved by the Texas Education Association. We are also a member of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA) and a school within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
