Magnolia Independent School District

The mission of the Magnolia Independent School District is to provide an educational environment that will enable all students to develop essential academic skills for a lifetime of learning and to prepare students to be responsible, contributing citizens in a diverse and changing world.

The academic programs for students continue to succeed in Magnolia ISD. Of the 13 campuses in the district, seven of the campuses have received TEA Recognized Recognition and one campus has received Exemplary Recognition. Magnolia ISD is one of the fastest growing districts in the state of Texas. The district has approximately 1500 employees.

Since the 1993-94 school year, the district has had a significant increase in student enrollment. In 1993-94, there were 4,021 students. In the current 2007-2008 school year, there are over 11,000 students in the district. This growth rate reflects an average of 500 additional students each year. The fast growth of the district has been met with excellent new facilities and with increased community support.
