Houston Christian High School

Houston Christian High School is a four-year, interdenominational college preparatory high school that provides rigorous academic programs designed to prepare every student for collegiate study and beyond. Founded in 1997, HC is a place where students can discover their life-callings while excelling academically. Houston Christian is accredited by The Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS), and is a member of the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC).

One of the most distinct and intentional components of the HC experience is our leadership development program. Through classroom teaching, hands-on opportunities, and worldwide travel, students have the chance to explore ideas and roles beyond the classroom walls. The majority of HC’s 500 students come from private schools throughout Houston, Spring Branch, Cypress-Fairbanks, and Katy communities, and there is also a strong public school representation. Situated on a beautifully appointed 45-acre, state-of-the-art, collegiate-style campus, HC is conveniently located at the intersection of W. Sam Houston Pkwy N and Kempwood Drive. Demonstrating a continuing commitment to enhancing educational excellence and whole-child development, Houston Christian recently completed the 7,400 sq. ft. Brown Family Dance Studio as well as the new, two-story, 7,000 sq. ft. Harrell Family Strength & Conditioning Center.
