The Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council is a public-private partnership established in 1986 to promote economic vitality and to ensure quality development in Fort Bend County.
Serving at different times in a variety of roles such as expeditor, facilitator, consultant, advocate, host, supporter, community servant, confidant, guide, researcher, or advisor, the GFBEDC contributes to the advancement of business, quality growth, and economic development so that the region’s vibrant economy will continue to expand, bringing the benefits of prosperity to every corner of the county.
The GFBEDC provides a wide array of information and free services designed to help businesses, whether local, regional, national, or even international, to understand and then act upon the tremendous advantages and opportunities of relocating or expanding their commercial operations in Fort Bend County.
