Gracepoint Homes is debuting a new style of home designs in Woodforest, adding to the array of architectural styles found in the South Montgomery County community.
The homes will showcase classic Southern features in the Kingsley neighborhood of Woodforest, an enclave of 50-foot properties. Home exteriors will feature front porches, columns, shutters, carriage-style garage doors and painted brick.
“These designs will make a beautiful streetscape for the neighborhood and the many front porches hopefully will entice a neighborly camaraderie,” said Virgil Yoakum, general manager of Woodforest.
Inside, the homes — priced from the $330,000s — will offer modern interiors filled with many of today’s must-haves, such as walk-in pantries, open-concept living areas, walk-in closets in the master suite and secondary bedrooms and media rooms. Options for an upstairs game room on single-story designs, additional bedrooms and baths, and master closet access to the utility room allow home buyers to configure homes to their needs. Model home construction is expected to begin in November.
Gracepoint Homes builds in two other Woodforest neighborhoods — Sanderling and Grand Marion.
Thirteen well-known builders offer townhomes, patio homes and executive homes in Woodforest priced from the $190,000s. In addition, nine custom homebuilders offer estate home designs priced into the millions. Thirty model homes are available for touring.
A project of acclaimed developer Johnson Development Corp., Woodforest is located five miles north of The Woodlands and six miles south of Lake Conroe. In addition to The Woodforest Golf Club, residents enjoy pools, trails and an active social calendar prepared by a full-time lifestyle director.
