Land Tejas Expands Sterling Lakes, A Community Located in South Houston

Premier residential developer Land Tejas is expanding Sterling Lakes by adding a new estates neighborhood with properties up to half an acre.

The Estates of Sterling Lakes will comprise 79 oversized homesites ranging up to half an acre. The first phase features home designs priced from the $300s by builders Anglia Homes, CastleRock Communities and Terrata Homes.  The Estates of Sterling Lakes will have three new models.

“The Estates at Sterling Lakes expands on our successful program in Sterling Lakes, delivering more spacious properties for those who want to put down roots in a country-like setting,” said Jennifer Keller, President and Chief Operating Officer of Land Tejas.

Also building in Sterling Lakes is LGI Homes, with pricing from the $180s.

Sterling Lakes is a guard-gated community found just west of Highway 288 on Meridiana Parkway in Iowa Colony. Residents enjoy generous amenities including the Splashpad Texas water park, junior Olympic pool, a recreation center, fitness center and hike-and-bike trails. Students attend schools in the Alvin Independent School District.

Land Tejas has several new developments underway, including Lago Mar in Texas City, Wedgewood Forest in Conroe and Balmoral and Etteridge in the West Lake Houston area. Other active projects include Canyon Lakes West and Miramesa.
