The Clear Creek Independent School District was formed in 1948 through consolidation of the schools in League City, Seabrook, Webster and Kemah. Clear Creek ISD is now the 28th largest of the state’s 1,043 districts. Approximately 36% of the faculty members have at least a master’s degree and for grades four and under, the state regulates the class size to 22 students.
The Dickinson Independent School District offers its approximately 8,100 students a full-range of educational opportunities through the efforts of more than 1,000 administrators, teachers and support personnel. The district's 61 square miles encompass the city of Dickinson and the unincorporated communities of Bacliff and San Leon as well as a portion of League City, La Marque and Texas City.
